What this experience offers you
Paiva Walkways: The Paiva Walkways are a stunning 8.7 km wooden trail built along the cliffs of the Paiva River Gorge. Located in the UNESCO Global Geopark of Arouca, this natural wonder is situated 75 km southeast of Porto, in northern Portugal. Renowned for its breathtaking beauty, the Paiva Walkways have been awarded ten times at the World Travel Awards.
Transport from Porto: You will be transported by a professional driver in a modern and comfortable van from Porto city center to the mountainous region of Arouca. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, with half the route along scenic roads offering picturesque views.
During the journey, immerse yourself in the natural beauty, as well as the geology, biology, and archaeology of the region. Along the walk, you will pass by several geosites, including:
Paiva Gorge (G36)
Aguieiras Waterfall (G35)
Vau River Beach (G30)
Gola do Salto (G31)
Espiunca Fault (G32)

Cancellation policy
Cancellations made up to 12:00 AM on the day before the service (Western European Time – WET/WEST) are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made after this time are non-refundable.
No-Show
Tours/Excursions: A no-show is considered when the client does not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, and the full booking amount will be charged.
Transfers: A no-show is considered when the client does not arrive within 1 hour of the scheduled time, and the full booking amount will also be charged.
Delays and Waiting Time for Transfers
For transfer services, a waiting period of 1 hour is allowed.
After this period, an additional fee of €30 per hour of waiting will apply, charged in 1-hour increments (or any part thereof).
Changes by Go Travel Everywhere
In exceptional circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, safety reasons, or operational issues, Go Travel Everywhere reserves the right to cancel or modify the service. In such cases, the client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
