Depart from Porto towards Amarante, with its traditional streets, the Church and Convent of São Gonçalo, and the beautiful granite bridge. Optionally, visit the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Municipal Museum. Continue to the city of Régua, stopping at the Mesão Frio viewpoint. In Régua, admire the stained glass windows of the Casa do Douro, which tell the story of transporting wine barrels along the Douro River. In Pinhão, explore the 1879 train station and the Douro Museum to learn about the history of Port wine.
